Have Your Say: CIRCUIT Launches Survey to Advance Innovative and Green Public Procurement

The CIRCUIT project consortium has just released a short survey on Innovative and Green Public Procurement.

Public Procurement (PP) is one of the most effective ways to advance innovation, sustainability and circular economy practices in the construction sector. For this reason, CIRCUIT dedicates significant attention to this topic.

Whether you are a public authority (contracting authority, procurer or buyer) or a private company (economic operator, bidder, contractor or supplier), this survey is an excellent opportunity to share your perspective on this important topic. The survey aims to identify which data and criteria are relevant to assess the environmental and innovative impact of construction products, works and services, and which metrics can be used to quantify Green Public Procurement (GPP) and Innovative Public Procurement (IPP). It also examines the current state of play in the application of green and innovation principles in public procurement, as well as the main barriers to their wider uptake and to a more coordinated approach at EU, national and regional levels.

Participating will take less than five minutes, and the survey is available in several European languages.

You can access the survey until 6 March 2026.
